Pedro goes 7 strong innings while striking out 11 Padres, en route to his 4th win. Pedro was helped by the offense tonight, led by Carlos Delgado's 8th homerun, and Xavier's 5th. David Wright reached base 4 times and had 2 steals, as the Mets were 4 for 4 in attempts against Mr. Piazza. Mike got to Pedro in the 2nd, hitting a 2-0 cutter over the wall for the Padres lone run. Next up Victor Zambrano Fantasy Update - Beltran's MRI showed no structural damage, and again was available to pinch hit last night. He's listed as day to day, but if he isn't a 100% he's not going to play.
